Tallulah has been around for more than a decade. If you’ve never stopped in for happy hour or dinner, the Top 10 Takeover is the opportunity, with a specially curated meal.

Guests will experience a five-course menu with vegetarian options, reminiscent of a dinner party at a friend’s house, according to Tallulah owners. The featured menu is highlighted by locally sourced seasonal produce, paired with menu items that reflect Tallulah’s relationship with local farmers and herders. On the menu is a variety of offerings from Tallulah’s popular Cacio e Pepe to lamb chops.

Guests can reserve 5 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. seatings.

Tickets for the May 9 Tallulah dinner go on sale for Free Press subscribers at noon Thursday. Subscribers should check their email for a link to ticket sales. General ticket sales for the public follow at noon Friday.

Tickets are $89 per person including tax and gratuity and a $3 donation to Forgotten Harvest, which helps fight food insecurity in metro Detroit. A $50 optional wine pairing presented by Tallulah’s sommelier is also offered.

For each event, the Detroit Free Press/Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are offering a chance to win two tickets. Enter the contest at chevydetroit.com/top10.

The annual Top 10 Takeover dining series highlights the Detroit Free Press/Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Restaurant of the Year and the 10 Best New Restaurants that were revealed in February. Each event offers the opportunity to experience the restaurant and a chef-curated, multicourse meal at the restaurant.

At Top 10 Takeover events, guests will hear from Lyndsay C. Green, the Free Press' dining and restaurant critic, along with fellow Free Press colleagues.
