Come On Up for Live Music

The Palm Springs Cultural Center presents live music at the VIP Lounge every week. Sunday brings Keisha D. to the stage for Soulful Sundays, Jeremie Levi Sanson hosts Mon Petit Salon on Mondays and Leanna and the Jazz Collective on Tuesday.

CV Philharmonic Society Chamber Series: Dr. Vanessa Fountain

The Coachella Valley Philharmonic Society Chamber Series has a new home at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. This performance features Dr. Vanessa Fountain on harp. Proceeds benefit Youth Training Orchestras of America and the Palm Springs Cultural Center Theatre 3 Renovation.

Jazzville presents Judy Wexler at the Cascade Lounge. Wexler, a touring and recording vocalist, has headlined jazz festivals, performing arts centers and major jazz clubs internationally.

Desert Ensemble Theatre Summer Reading Series

The Desert Ensemble Theatre is offering a reading series to distract residents from the summer heat. For four weeks, eventgoers will have the chance to hear three new plays never produced before, plus a British import rarely seen in the U.S. This week's final play will be "Iced," written and directed by Patricia West-Del Ruth

'Biloxi Blues'

Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical story is told through the eyes of 18-year-old Eugene Morris Jerome, who is drafted into the U.S. Army during World War II.

'Southern Fried Nuptials'

It's been a rough year for Attie VanLeer and Harline Frye. Their engagement has been on and off more times than a drunk frat boy on a mechanical bull.
