'Dallas' Reunion
Ready to be starstruck? Head to Oscar’s this Tuesday for a cast reunion of the TV series “Dallas,” which debuted on April 2, 1978. The actors will discuss the show, along with their personal lives and careers since they wrapped.

Summer Cabaret Series at CV Rep
Off-Broadway veteran and Carol Burnett Scholarship winner Glenn Rosenblum will perform this week at Coachella Valley Repertory's Summer Cabaret Series. Rosenblum has been in “Ballroom” and “Chess” at the Cathedral City-based theater company, and he also took the CVRep stage during last summer's Theatre Thursdays lecture series, which he founded with the help of Founding Artistic Director Ron Celona during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Dive-in Movie: 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish'
Looking for a fun family activity that also beats the heat? The Palm Desert Aquatic Center will host a screening of "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" as part of its weekly "Dive-in Movie" series. Slides will be open from 7:30 to 8 p.m. and select pool areas will be open. Food trucks will also be available to purchase snacks from.

Paul Draper at Marvyn's Magic Theater
Paul Draper will perform at Marvyn’s Magic Theater this week. Draper has been featured on the History Channel, A&E, HBO, Hallmark, the Travel Channel, HGTV and many more big-name networks. He is an anthropologist and a member of the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness, where he studies Native American ghost dancers, South American cannibals and spiritualists.

Live performances at Rock Yard
Listen to various tribute bands at The Rock Yard outdoor concert stage every weekend. This week features Sabbath After Forever, a tribute to Black Sabbath, on Friday, as well as Bruno Mars tribute band Bruno and the Hooligans on Saturday. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Ages 18 and up.

Summer Family Fun: Magic at the Museum!
Bring the whole family to La Quinta Museum for an afternoon performance by award-winning corporate magician, mentalist and entertainer Dean Apple. Apple, a former U.S. Magician of the Year, will offer a show full of audience participation and clean comedy for all ages.

Space Cowboy Books and Art Queen Gallery: Michael Butterworth’s 'Circularisations'
The opening reception of Michael Butterworth’s “Circularisations” will kick off this summer exhibit, which showcases the U.K. poet, author, editor, publisher, and bookseller's series of unique graphic poetry first published in New Worlds Magazine in 1969. Selections of his poetry will be read during live musical performances by Phog Masheen and Field Collapse, followed by a screening of Clara Casian’s mini-documentary “House on the Borderland.” Reservations required.

Idyllwild Arts Presents: Native American Arts Festival Week
The Idyllwild Arts Foundation presents its annual Native American Arts Festival Week at the Idyllwild Arts campus this month. The week-long event includes Native American arts-based programming such as artistic demonstrations, an invitational exhibition, Native food tastings and the Michael Kabotie Lecture Series.

Screwball Sundays
