Rancho Mirage Writers Festival Writers Series – Jeffrey Frank

Jeffrey Frank's new book, "The Trials of Harry S. Truman," is the first full account of the Truman presidency in nearly 30 years. Frank will be speaking about the book at the Rancho Mirage Public Library Monday, and the first 200 physical attendees with receive a free copy of his book. The event will also be livestreamed on its website.

Met to Broadway — 'It's All About Love'

"It's All About Love" features six professional singers, including sopranos Michelle Fiore and Ana Rangel, tenors Andrew Bird and Christian Quevedo, baritone Paul Kowal and bass-baritone Doug Nagel, accompanied by Kurt Jordan on the piano.

Rock The Plaza — A Fundraising Event to Help Save The Historic Plaza Theatre

The Palm Springs Plaza Theatre Foundation has received a grant from the Inland Empire Community Foundation through the Sheffer/Scheffler Donor Advised Fund.

10th Anniversary Palm Springs Women's Jazz Festival

The Palm Springs Women's Jazz Festival returns to in-person performances for its 10th Anniversary. Friday will include NNenna Freelon, Cyrille Aimee and Lea Delaria; Saturday features an art faire and Ledisi; and Sunday will include Divas of the Desert.

'Barefoot in the Park'

Desert Theatreworks presents Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park," a romantic comedy focusing on newlyweds as they begin married life in a tiny fifth-floor apartment in New York City. After a six-day honeymoon, the couple get a surprise visit from the mother-in-law and decide to play matchmaker during a hilarious dinner with their eccentric neighbor-in-the-attic. Rated PG.

'Nunsensations!'

The Nunsense Vegas Revue takes the sisters on a brand-new adventure. When a parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters’ school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior is hesitant to accept. However, after being convinced by the other sisters that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” Reverend Mother agrees.
