Free Movies for the Kids

The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission partnered with the Mary Pickford Theatre to present this free summer movie series for kids. This week, the theater will screen "The Emoji Movie."

Musical Mondays with VJ GingerBear

VJ GingerBear plays musical favorites from stage to screen. Guests can requests songs while playing Broadway trivia for prizes. Ages 21-plus.

Monday Night Bingo

Bella da ball, aka Brian Wanzek, will host Monday Night Bingo 7-9 p.m. every Monday at King's Highway.

CV Philharmonic Society Chamber Series: Dr. Charles Metz

The Coachella Valley Philharmonic Society Chamber Series has a new home at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. This inaugural performance will be the first of several upcoming performances. Proceeds benefit Youth Training Orchestras of America and the Palm Springs Cultural Center Theatre 3 Renovation.

'Cine Mexicano' Summer Film Series

The Annenberg Theater at Palm Springs Art Museum presents "Cine Mexicano," a monthly film series celebrating Mexican cinema with influential films that express the country's art and culture. The films are in Spanish with English subtitles. This month's film is "Y tu mamá también/And Your Mom Too," which follows two best friends on a cross-country escapade with an older woman.

'Eegah' - Bad News From Outer Space

Would you watch a movie just to bash on it? Get ready for a night of movie bashing at this screening of the 1962 film "Eegah." Filmed locally across Palm Springs, Coachella and La Quinta, "Eegah" is a B-Movie classic about a caveman running across the Coachella Valley in pursuit of forbidden love.

Summer Sing-A-Long: 'Little Shop of Horrors'

The Summer Sing-A-Long series is back with returning and new musicals every week. Start off the night with a happy hour upstairs in the VIP lounge with drink specials, Mildred's happy hour menu and episodes of "Schmigadoon!" and "Glee." The song leaders from the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus will join the sing-a-long film. This week's screening will be "Little Shop of Horrors."

Palm Springs Cultural Center will play "Kill Bill Volume 2" on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 8 p.m. as a part of the Palm Springs Rewinds series.

Palm Springs Rewinds is a summer-long weekly program featuring film screenings from acclaimed directors Quentin Tarantino in July and Wes Anderson in August. This week, the Palm Springs Cultural Center will screen "Kill Bill Volume 2."
