Top 10 things to do in the Coachella Valley this week, July 18-24

Monday Night Bingo is back with Bella da Ball hosting, calling numbers, performing and giving away prizes. Space is limited, so reservations are recommended.

Come On Up for Live Music

The Palm Springs Cultural Center presents live music at the VIP Lounge every week. Sunday brings Keisha D. to the stage for Soulful Sundays, followed by Mon Petit Salon on Monday and Leanna and the Jazz Collective on Tuesday.

Free Movies for the Kids

Mary Pickford Theatre will screen "Peter Rabbit 2" Monday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 20 as a part of their free summer movie series for kids.

The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission partnered with the Mary Pickford Theatre to present this free summer movie series for kids. This week, the theater will screen "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway."

The Palm Springs Cultural Center, partnered with the City of Palm Springs, P.S. Resorts and the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, is hosting free monthly Marilyn Monroe movies in the Palm Springs Downtown Park this summer. This month, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" will be screened. There will also be a special appearance by The Marilyns of Palm Springs.

The Rock Yard

Listen to various tribute bands at The Rock Yard outdoor concert stage each weekend. This weekend features AC/DC tribute band Whole Lotta Rosies on Friday and David Bowie tribute band Space Oddity on Saturday. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Ages 18-plus.

The Summer Sing-A-Long series is back with returning and new musicals every week. Start off the night with a happy hour upstairs in the VIP lounge with drink specials, Mildred's happy hour menu and episodes of "Schmigadoon!" and "Glee." The song leaders from the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus will join the sing-a-long film. This week's screening will be "Annie."

'Christmas in July' Drag Brunch

Christmas in July? Tools For Tomorrow is bringing the winter holiday to this summer month with a fabulous drag show by Ethylina Canne, Morgan McMichaels and Delta work, along with a brunch by New Leaf Catering. Holiday wreaths will be auctioned off. Funds raised benefit Tools For Tomorrow's free after-school arts literacy program for ages eight to 11 throughout the Coachella Valley.
