The Art of Music

Guided Bird Walk

Learn about local and migratory bird species in the Sunnylands gardens, guided by a knowledgeable birder. The 60-minute guided walk takes place outdoors on walking paths that are paved or made of firmly-packed decomposed granite. The paths are wheelchair accessible. Water, sun protection, closed-toed shoes and binoculars are recommended.

'Cultural Cannibalism' Exhibition

Six desert artists — Cito Gonzales, Adriana Lopez-Ospina, Kim Manfredi, Flávia Lima do Rêgo Monteiro, Joyce Rooks and Hector Salas — present new artworks based on their heritage and explore ideas of cultural absorption, depletion and transcendence.
