Here are the top 100 places to eat in Fresno and Valley, according to Yelp

Where’s the best place to eat in the Fresno area?

Yelp.com has answers.

The site where the public reviews restaurants, food trucks, caterers and more has ranked the top 100 eateries.

Yelp’s methodology included using the total number of reviews and how users rated the business between summer 2022 and summer 2023. All were marked open as of August.

Last year, Yelp ranked the top 50 places to eat in Fresno and Clovis. This year, they expanded it to 100 and widened the geographic area to include the northern part of the central San Joaquin Valley.

The Fresno Bee or its sister publications have written about many of the restaurants on the list, so we’ve included a link to the story where appropriate.

The No. 1 winner might be unfamiliar to some readers. That’s because its restaurant isn’t open yet — but it will be soon.

It’s Miguel’s Artisan Recipes, the same people behind Miguel’s Salsa. They have a food truck and catering business. Starting sometime in December, they will take over the restaurant and meat market inside the Peacock Market on Tollhouse Road in Clovis.

They also recently won the salsa competition at Fresno’s Taco Truck Throwndown.
