Top 5 Plays of the Week – Week 25

JOPLIN, MO – After a week of high school and college sports, we showed off our Top 5 Plays of the Week from around the Four States.

Play #1: Cole Gayman (MSSU Junior RHP)– Missouri Southern’s Cole Gayman had a stellar outing against Ouachita Baptist. The Webb City native went seven inning with nine strikeouts on one hit, and one earned run.

The 5’10” ace is now off to a 2-0 start this season.

Play #2: Brandi Hudson (MSSU Senior Forward)– MSSU’s Brandi Hudson had a massive game on Saturday against UCM. The senior went 8 for 11 with a season high 27 points, and went a perfect 11 for 11 from the free throw line.

Play #3: Aiden Gazaway (Junior, Pittsburg Boys Basketball)– Pittsburg’s Aiden Gazaway hit four three pointers in a row in Friday night’s game against Parsons. The junior took his team on a 12-3 run on his own, capping his night off with a dunk.

Play #4: Kyndall Scott (Ozark Christian Freshman Guard)– Kyndall Scott and Ozark Christian had a huge night on Friday. Scott would finish with 20 points, and her team would finish with 20 made three pointers. The Ambassadors would go on to win this game over Central Christian 96-42.

Play #5: Andre Johnson (Ozark Christian Sophomore Guard)– Andre Johnson got the Ambassadors crowd on its feet with a one-handed slam against Central Christian. The Ambassadors would go on to win this game 90-76.
