What a varied week this will be for entertainment in the Ancient City area! There’s a comic convention, a coastal cleanup, a neighborhood festival and lots of music. This annual event celebrates science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime and gaming, takes place over three days, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 16-18, at the Renaissance Resort in World Golf Village. Attendees can attend panel discussions, take part in photo ops, participate in gaming and more, as well as visit with special guests. Renaissance Resort in World Golf Village is at 500 S. 2. International Coastal Cleanup Day

What better reason to spend Saturday morning at the beach while doing something that helps the environment? Organized by Friends of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway Inc., teams on beaches in St Johns and Flagler counties can work together from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, to keep the area's beaches clean. Participants are encouraged to register and to bring gloves and bags. 3. Estuaries Fest 2022
