Top 5 things to do in St. Augustine: Costume contest, fishing, kids' day, music, kayaking
We’re coming up to the end of October, and you know what that means: pumpkins, Halloween and cooler temperatures. Luckily, we live in an area that has a wide variety of activities and entertainment options: this week alone we have the start to a Halloween costume contest, concert, kayak trip, fishing contest and a kids’ day.
Halloween Costume Contest
This costume contest started Oct. 19 and continues through Nov. 14, hosted by Ancient City Tours. It’s a virtual contest, so participants can send photos of themselves and/or their families in Halloween costumes and the winners will be announced on Facebook on Nov. 15. Categories are: history-themed, do-it-yourself, pet-in-costume, group, St. Augustine-themed, prince or princess and super hero. Photos must have been taken this year. 904-827-0807 or go to ancientcitytours.net
