Jingle Bell Jog 5K and Reindeer Run with Glow Sticks
Get ready to dig into Christmas cookies and other treats by joining this 5K and 1-mile fun run at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at 205 St. Johns Golf Drive. The course winds through St. Johns Golf and Country Club, and each participant will receive a free glow stick, glow necklace and chocolate finisher’s medal. RubiMusic Holiday Concert
Get into the holiday spirit at the Ancient City Baptist Church, 27 Sevilla St., the place for RubiMusic’s holiday concert, including chamber musicians and a children’s choir. This free concert is at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 and highlights American composer John Rutter, Baroque selections by Handel and familiar carols. Christmas Parade 2022
This is the 66th year for St. Augustine’s Annual Christmas Parade, with floats, festive decorations and fun. Considered one of the largest parades in northeast Florida, the parade includes marching bands, antique cars, horses and carriages and Santa Claus. It starts at the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission of Nombre de Dios and proceeds south through downtown. Palm Valley Boat Parade
If you’re in the mood for more parades after St. Augustine’s Christmas Parade, check out the annual lighted boat parade, from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, hosted by Palm Valley residents. The boat parade covers seven miles of the Intracoastal Waterway, and along with the decorated boats, docks, restaurants and public viewing areas are also decked out for the holidays.
