Rock the Park

The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce is hosting free, monthly tribute band concerts on the first Wednesday of every month. This month's evening festivities will feature Mirage, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac.

Edmund Bagnell presents an evening celebrating all things music from classical to standards and pop to Broadway. Directed by Michael Schiralli and with Mark Hartman on the piano, this piece shows a different side of Bagnell in this personal journey through music. Bagnell is the first violinist and vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well Strung.

First Friday Art Walk

Artists open their Cathedral City studios to the public on the first Friday of every month for art fans to see how and where they do their artwork. The art walk features nine contemporary Palm Springs-style galleries and three mid-century home decor stores with new work on display.

Kipaipai Group Exhibition Opening Reception

Founded by Andi Campognone, director and curator at the Museum of Art and History in Lancaster, the Kipaipai Workshop shares information on professional art practices from social media promotion to identifying and strategizing goals, gallery representation and museum exhibitions. The Hawaiian word "Kipaipai" means "to encourage and inspire," which is the purpose of the intensive program.

Palm Springs Rewinds: The Big Lebowski

Palm Springs Rewinds is a summer-long weekly program featuring film screenings from three acclaimed directors: Coen Brothers in June, Quentin Tarantino in July and Wes Anderson in August. This week, Palm Springs Cultural Center will screen "The Big Lebowski."
