PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — While the winter storm appears to be behind Portland, the city is preparing for showers through the weekend. But if rain isn’t enough to soak your sense of adventure, here are a few ideas of things to do.

Nate Bargatze: The Be Funny Tour

Secure last-minute tickets to see comedian Nate Bargatze, who’s been dubbed the “nicest man in stand-up.” More recently, Bargatze has also been recognized as a Grammy nominee for Best Comedy Album and as a Saturday Night Live host.

Janeane Garofalo

When: Friday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 27 at 10 p.m.

As seen in “Wet Hot American Summer” and “The Larry Sanders Show,” Janeane Garofalo is bringing her comedic talents to the Helium Comedy Club — with two of four shows this weekend already sold out. The venue describes Garofalo as a performer who has “helped lead the charge for alternative comics.”

Goose Hollow Coffee Beer Fest

When: Saturday, Jan. 27 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Goose Hollow Inn1927 SW Jefferson St, Portland, OR 97201

Two of Portland’s favorite drinks, beer and coffee, fuse together for this festival that features 12 different brews. Goose Hollow Inn will hold the event, complete with live music and a heated tent for attendees. Tickets are sold for $25 at the door, and include a complimentary glass and eight coffee beer tastings.

Northwest Hardcore Fest

When: Saturday, Jan. 27 at 4 p.m.
Where: 2202 NW Roosevelt St. Portland, OR 97210

Northwest Hardcore Fest is a celebration of hardcore bands in the region. The winter edition of the festival will feature 16 bands and multiple vendors from the Portland area. Tickets are on sale now for $20. A portion of the proceeds will go toward Outside Issues Coffee and Lift Sober, a nonprofit that provides recovery services.

Portland Fine Print Fair

When: Saturday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: Portland Art Museum, 1219 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97205

For the 11th year, PAM’s Fields Ballroom is hosting a fair that allows Portlanders to buy prints from their favorite art galleries across the globe. “Prints from the Old Masters to contemporary emerging artists will be on sale, and excellent works can be found in all price ranges,” museum leaders said.

Major League Table Tennis

When: Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 28 at various times

Major League Table Tennis’ inaugural season is in full swing, with upcoming matches between four teams in its West Division. The Bay Area Blasters, Seattle Spinners, Texas Smash and Portland Paddlers will all compete for a spot in the playoffs. A three-day pass for the competition costs $345.
