Key high school games to watch in the Eugene area this week
The spring high school sports season continues, and Eugene area teams have another action-packed week set.
This week there are double headers in softball and baseball, two tournaments in boys and girls tennis and a track and field meet.
Here are the top games to watch this week.
Softball
Sheldon vs. Roseburg at Roseburg High School, 4:30 p.m., Monday
Willamette vs. South Medford at Willamette High School, 4:30 p.m., Tuesday
Marist Catholic vs. Junction City at Junction City High School, 5 p.m., Tuesday
Cottage Grove vs. Junction City at Junction City High School, 3 and 5 p.m., Friday
Baseball
Marist Catholic vs. Junction City at Junction City High School, 5 p.m., Tuesday
Thurston vs. Westview at Thurston High School, 5 p.m., Wednesday
South Eugene vs. Roseburg at Legion Field - Stewart Park Roseburg, noon and 2 p.m., Saturday
Boys tennis
Big Foot Tournament at Sheldon High School, 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday
Girls tennis
Roseburg Tournament, at Roseburg High School, Friday and Saturday
Track and field
The Oregon Relays will be held at Hayward Field on Friday and Saturday. Several Eugene area schools are scheduled to compete in the event. Among them are South Eugene, Ashland, Eagle Point, Grants Pass, McNary and South Medford.
Lacrosse
Marist vs. Roseburg at Roseburg High School, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday
South Eugene vs. Sheldon at Sheldon High School, 7 p.m., Tuesday
