Top Kentucky basketball recruiting links: It was a good weekend for a future Wildcat
It was a good weekend for Kentucky basketball signee Chris Livingston and Oak Hill Academy.
The future Wildcat didn’t shoot well in his first game of the prestigious Hoophall Classic on Saturday — going just 2-for-9 from the field with seven points — but he impacted the outcome with eight rebounds and six blocks to help lead Oak Hill to a 66-61 victory over No. 13-ranked La Lumiere (Ind.). On Sunday, UK Coach John Calipari was in the stands to see Livingston go for 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in a 70-55 victory over Gonzaga (D.C.), the No. 10-ranked team in the country.
Livingston is the No. 4 overall player in the 247Sports rankings for the 2022 class, and his future in Lexington should be a bright one.
