Top Kentucky basketball recruiting links: UK targets battle on TV at Peach Jam Sunday

The Nike Peach Jam finals are set for Sunday evening, and both sides in the championship game will be represented by major Kentucky basketball recruiting targets.

The title matchup will pit Team Final (starring Jalen Duren and Dereck Lively II) against Brad Beal Elite (starring Brandon Miller and Nick Smith Jr.), and the game will be televised Sunday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.

Duren, who is currently ranked as the No. 1 player in the 2022 class, is widely expected to reclassify to 2021, and he’s being pursued by Kentucky, Memphis, Miami and two professional leagues. A final decision on his next basketball move is expected to take place in the next couple of weeks. Lively and Miller both have UK scholarship offers for the 2022 class, and Smith is viewed as one of the most likely future recipients of a Kentucky offer for 2022.
