El Rincon

El Rincon has two locations and both are popular, one in St. Martin and another in Biloxi. Given four stars on Yelp and five on Trip Advisor, El Rincon is lauded for its unique menu that separates itself from many others in its lane.

“Welcome to Margarita Paradise. This is my favorite place for Mexican food on the Coast. If you like margaritas, you must try this place,” one Yelp reviewer from Houston said.

Aztecas

Another popular spot with multiple locations, Aztecas is known for its outdoor seating atmosphere and excellent drink menu. The Crazy Limonada is personally one of my favorite drinks anywhere on the Coast.

“Frozen Tamarind margarita: fantastic, caught me by surprise,” an Ocean Springs reviewer said.

El Aguila

In the heart of Gulfport is a Mexican restaurant that earns a four-star rating on both Yelp and Trip Advisor. Patrons enjoy El Aguila for the ambiance and the atypical menu that offers items such as agave chipotle glazed ribs and Mexican pasta.

“The table side guacamole was delicious, and I consider myself a “ceviche aficionado” and this ceviche was the best this side of Mississippi,” a Yelp reviewer said.

Pepe’s Bosque

D’Iberville’s crown jewel of Mexican dining is just off Rodriguez Street. With 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor, reviewers love the quality of the food and the family friendly prices.

“We moved to Ocean Springs from Southern California and have tried many local restaurants trying to find real Mexican food. Pepe’s is the best by far and is the closest to what we have enjoyed living near the boarder for many years,” a Trip Advisor reviewer said.

Juan Tequila’s

If you find yourself along U.S. 49 and looking for lunch or dinner, Juan Tequila’s in Saucier is a hidden gem that is touted as one of the top local Mexican restaurants on the Coast. There is also a location in Long Beach.

“Because I wanted something a little different, I ordered the Cactus Fajita. I’ve never had cactus before so I was both excited and a little hesitant. I loved it!” a Trip Advisor reviewer said.
