The free clinic's mission is to upgrade the health, education, and living standards of underserved children and families; and to eliminate the cycle of poverty for the families it serves in South Florida.

Eric J. McBride has been named chief executive officer of the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. Tenet Florida Physician Services recently rebranded the organization. In this role, McBride is responsible for the operations and strategic growth of physician practices across Palm Beach County.

Dr. Jason R. Ouellette has been appointed chief medical officer of Palms West Hospital. Ouellette joined HCA in March as the assistant chief medical officer for JFK Medical Center and JFK Medical Center North Campus, where he worked closely with the executive leadership team at JFK North. “I am extremely excited to be given the opportunity to join the very talented team of leaders at Palms West Hospital,” Ouellette said.

Philanthropy

Hanley Foundation has announced that fourth-generation Palm Beacher Turner Benoit has been promoted to chief philanthropy officer, according to Jan Cairnes, CEO for Hanley Foundation. Benoit will directly oversee the foundation’s major gifts and transformational programs. He will also continue to manage the Foundation’s Lifesaver Program, which assists those who are not otherwise able to afford access to quality addiction treatment. Benoit will also oversee all the Foundation’s fundraising events, including the Palm Beach Dinner, Family Picnic and Golf Classic. Benoit joined the Hanley Foundation in 2016.

Former Florida Department of Environmental Protection attorney Paul Joseph Polito has joined the environmental and natural resources law practice at Lewis, Longman and Walker, one of the state’s largest environmental law firms. Polito has spent the past several years as a litigator at the DEP, representing the state in complex matters related to environmental permitting and enforcement. A Fort Lauderdale native, Polito is moving to West Palm Beach to work out of the firm's downtown office.
