• The long-awaited grand opening of Lakeland's BONNET SPRINGS PARK takes place from 9:30 a.m. Oct. 22 through 6 p.m. Oct. 23, Bonnet Springs Park, 400 Bonnet Springs Blvd., Lakeland. The event is free to attend. There will be dozens of local vendors and food trucks, face painting, strolling performers, activities in nature and mascot meet and greets. Also, there will be three stages with a wide range of musical acts.
