The 70th annual Farmers' and Threshermen's Jubilee announces the winners of the following contests held during the Sept. 7 to 11 Jubilee in New Centerville.

Scarecrow contest

Junior division: 1. Collin Custer, Somerset; 2. Wyatt Begonia, Irwin; 3. Owen Begonia; 4. Amara Pletcher, Rockwood.

Senior division: 1. Zia Short, Somerset; 2. Maloria Barron, Somerset; 3. Ariel Short, Somerset; 4. Amiya Pletcher, Rockwood; 5. Brycen Pletcher, Rockwood.

Adult Two Scarecrows: Carrie Saylor, Rockwood.

Best of Show: Carrie Saylor, Rockwood.

Pumpkin decorating contest

The Mt. Union Church Camp 502 Sons and Auxiliary of the Union Veterans of the Civil War sponsors the annual event.

The winners of the steam engine games are:

Gate race: 1. Luke Miller on a 1912 8 1/2" by 10" Frick; 2. Scott Baker on a 1928 Peerless 50 horsepower; 3. Josh Henry on a 1917 Peerless 50 horsepower; 4. Mark Mull on a 1911 9 1/2" by 10" Frick.

Slow race: 1. Matthew Roberts on a 1/2 Scale Case; 2. Josh Henry on a 1917 Peerless; 3. Scott Baker on a 1928 Peerless 50 horsepower; 4. Mark Mull on a 1911 9 1/2" by 10" Frick; 5. Jessie Friedline on a 1921 Grayhound 24 horsepower.

Fast race: 1. Luke Miller on a 1912 8 1/2" by 10" Frick; 2. Josh Henry on a 1917 50 horsepower Peerless; 3. Jessie Friedline on a 1921 24 horsepower Grayhound; 4. Scott Baker on a 1928 50 horsepower Peerless.

58 years and a joint replacement class: 1. Jason Spangler on a 1921 24 horsepower Grayhound; 2. Sam Miller on a 1912 8 1/2" by 10" Frick; 3. Mark Mull on a 1911 9 1/2" by 10" Frick; 4. Matthew Roberts on a 1/2 Scale Case.

The "Golden Peerless Award" was presented to Luke Miller on Markleton.

Next year's Farmers' and Threshermen's Jubilee will be Sept. 6 to 10.
