Every year The Oklahoman honors some of the top workplaces in the state. It’s a way we like to recognize individuals and organizations that do things the right way.

It's our annual Top Workplaces competition, and I am happy to say that the nomination period has been extended until Aug. 12.

So far, more than 150 companies have signed up to take the Top Workplaces challenge. This is The Oklahoman's 10th year running the contest, which rewards companies based upon employee feedback.

Any organization with 35 or more employees in Oklahoma is eligible to participate. These organizations can be public, private, nonprofit or government organizations.

Workplaces are evaluated by their employees using a short 24-question survey. These surveys will be administered from June through August.

The Oklahoman is partnering with Philadelphia-based Energage, the employee research and culture technology firm, to determine Oklahoma’s Top Workplaces, based solely on employee survey feedback. We surveyed 109 companies in 2021, getting feedback from 22,237 employees.

We recognized 83 businesses as winners last year — and would love to recognize many more this year.

The new nomination deadline is Aug. 12, so don’t hesitate to fill out the nomination form at www.oklahoman.com/nominate or by calling 405-708-6151. Anyone can nominate a company, including business leadership, employees or even customers.

Winners will be published later this year.
