These Topeka grocery and retail stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day
Topekans needing last-minute items for their Thanksgiving dinner had better not wait until too late in the day.
With stores increasingly giving workers Thanksgiving Day off to spend time with their families, most grocery and retail outlets here will be closed.
But all Topeka Dillons stores will be open that day until 3 p.m., said Sheila Regehr, corporate affairs manager for Dillons.
And Topeka's Big Lots store at 5121 S.W. 29th will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, according to a sign posted Friday at that store.
Here's when Dillons stores in Topeka will be open on Thanksgiving
The following Dillons locations will be open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day:
• 5311 S.W. 22nd Place.
• 2815 S.W. 29th.
• 4015 S.W. 10th Ave.
• 2010 S.E. 29th.
• 800 N.W. 25th.
• 6829 S.W. 29th

The following Topeka grocery and retail stores will be closed on Thanksgiving:
• Aldi.
• Walmart.
• Sam's Club.
• Target.
• Hy-Vee.
• Lowe's.
• PetSmart.
• TJ Maxx.
• Walgreen's.
