Torch Relay Kicks Off Countdown to Summer Olympics

Members of Japan’s national women’s soccer team led the opening Olympic torch relay in Fukushima prefecture on March 25, officially launching the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics a year after the games were postponed due to the pandemic.

This footage shows part of the relay, which took place following a closed ceremony at the J-Village national soccer training center, local news reports said.
