A destructive tornado moved through Gretna, Louisiana, on December 14, as at least 21 twisters hit the state, leaving three dead.

Local media reported the tornado caused damage to homes in Gretna, as it moved along the river. One person was reported killed in the New Orleans area, and eight were injured.
