Tornado touches down in Goshen Township. See the damage.
A tornado touched down in Goshen Township on Wednesday, the National Weather Service confirmed, causing damage to at least two businesses, homes and the township's fire station.
According to the National Weather Service, the tornado touched ground just after 3 p.m. It was located northeast of Newtonsville around 3:20 p.m., moving east at 35 mph, forecasters said.
A tornado warning was issued for Clermont and Brown counties at 3:15 p.m., but has since been lifted.
On social media, Goshen residents posted photos and videos of damaged buildings and fallen trees.

KAB Insurance Services, which has an office located at 6746 Dick Flynn Blvd., sustained severe damage from the tornado.
On Facebook, business co-owner Eric Beavers said his staff was trapped inside the building as its walls collapsed. No one was injured as they hid underneath a table, the post read.

Nearby, the Goshen Township Fire Department, located on Ohio-28, was also hit, Fox 19 reporter Ken Brown tweeted.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are still in place for parts of Brown Adams, Pike, Highland and Scioto counties until 5 p.m. National Weather Service forecasters said residents should expect 60 mph wind gusts and damage to trees and power lines.
