Tornado-Warned Storm Kills at Least Two People in Florida Panhandle

A tornado-warned storm killed two people in a mobile home in Alford, Florida, in the early hours of March 31, amid severe weather across the Deep South.

According to the Panama City News Herald, Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) officials confirmed a tornado touched down near Gilbert’s Mill Road, causing the death of two people.

As of Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service has not confirmed a tornado in the area.

The WCSO reported the storm damaged multiple homes and downed power lines.
