Here are the top stories in St. Louis today:

  1. St. Louis police are investigating the death of a toddler that has been ruled suspicious. Officers responded after receiving a report Friday that a 2-year-old boy had been struck by a car on Rutger Lane. The boy was not breathing and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.   2. At least seven people are dead following a series of tornadoes that stretched from St. Charles County to the Metro East on Friday night. Six of the fatalities occurred at an Amazon fulfillment center in Edwardsville. An 84-year-old woman was also killed in her Defiance home. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

  3. Police have identified a man who was killed in a stabbing on Union Boulevard earlier this week as 60-year-old Toran McCoy. (STLtoday.com)

  4. A St. Charles man has been charged for his involvement in the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this year.

  5. A painting by St. Louis artist Kelly Latimore that depicted Mary and Jesus with brown skin was stolen from a chapel at the Catholic University of America. (St. Louis American)
