Torpy, who formerly was with the State Attorney’s Office, was honored in the category of organizations with budgets of between $500,000 and $2 million.

“I am humbled to receive this alongside so many deserving people and organizations that are doing spectacular work for survivors of domestic violence and their families,” Torpy said.
