Town Center at Cobb mall to have Back-to-School Bash

Jul. 20—Town Center at Cobb mall, 400 Ernest Barrett Parkway NW in Kennesaw, will have a Back-to-School Bash on July 30 from noon to 3 p.m. in Center Court.

Local students and families are invited to celebrate the return to the classroom with festivities that include goody bags, giveaways, a DJ, a selfie wall and will feature visits from fan-favorite superheroes and balloon artists. The free event will also feature local nonprofit, ARTportunity Knocks, including bookbag distribution with school and art supplies, while supplies last.

As part of the monthly series, July's Peace of Art program will continue to showcase creativity to improve and enrich the lives of youth with special performances by the Samba International Drummers, Rockwell Dance Team and Cobb Autistic Dancers. There will also be appearances and collaborations from local mental health partners and law enforcement.
