Which town employees earned the most in Westminster for fiscal 2023?
The top 10 earners in the town of Westminster were comprised of mostly police and fire officials during fiscal 2023.
Sgt. Nathan Hawkins took home a total of $164,800, $47,151 of which was overtime pay, compared to the $147,471 plus $32,606 in OT he earned last year. Sgt. Nicholas Auffrey earned $155,059 in total pay, including $36,602 in OT, compared to the $146,480 plus $32,535 earned in FY22. Last year, Auffrey was the town's highest earner.
Fire Lt. David Monty, third of the list, took home $138,419, with $58,322 in overtime. Police Lt. Jason Tamulen earned a salary of $136,948. DPW Director Joshua Hall, the highest paid non-public safety official on the list, took home a salary of $130,876, compared to the $128,965 he earned during the previous fiscal year.
Sgt. Amy Nelson, the top-earning woman on the list, earned $129,472 during the fiscal year, including $21,660 in overtime pay. In FY22, Nelson earned $126,230 plus $20,429 in OT. Officer Patrick Popora took home $125,538, that had $31,230 in OT.
Fire Chief Kyle Butterfield earned a salary of $124,772.
Officer Jason Wetherbee took earned $122,269 that included $28,729 in overtime.
Fire Capt. Adam Bean rounded out the list of top 10 earners with a salary of $108,467.
