Town-by-town totals: These Massachusetts communities have received the most snow

A winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow on some parts of Massachusetts on Sunday.

Heavy snow blanketed northern Massachusetts and the Merrimack Valley. Some local communities, such as Haverhill and Groveland, saw snowfall amounts of 17 inches. Other communities including Boston and Quincy saw snowfall amounts of just a few inches.

A winter storm warning was issued for much of Massachusetts through 1 a.m. on Monday.
