TPD: Man shows up to hospital after reported south Tallahassee shooting

A man who was driven to a local emergency room for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his foot reported that he was injured in a south Tallahassee shooting, according to a Tallahassee Police Department release.

The shooting reportedly occurred at The Park at Bristol apartment complex, 2833 S. Adams St., on Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m.

"The victim advised that he got into an argument with several other males which turned into a physical altercation," the release said.

The man was allegedly fleeing the scene when he was shot.

No arrests have been made.

So far this year, two people were killed and 11 were injured in at least 16 shooting incidents in Tallahassee and Leon County, according to a Tallahassee Democrat analysis.
