Track roundup: TV's Martin, Morgan's Smith enjoy big days

DRESDEN — Kate Martin won the 100 (:13.1), 200 (:28.1) and long jump (4-6) to pace host Tri-Valley girls wins against visiting Maysville and New Lexington on Tuesday in an Muskingum Valley League triangular.

Taylor Crozier earned wins in the 800 (2:39.3) and 1600 (5:41.9), Gwendolyn Lacy took the pole vault (7-6) and long jump (13-8), Mackenzie Harvey won the shot (31-4 3/4) and discus (105-1) for Tri-Valley, which totaled 156 points.

Maysville's team of Carmin Farnsworth, Hannah Slack, Kelsie Bryan and Skila Chapman won the 4x100 relay (:57.4).

Jocelynn Bowen won the 100 hurdles (:16.9) and 300 hurdles (:53.2) for New Lex (41). Bowen, Alexa Smith, Paige Binckley and Mia Conrad took the 4x200 (2:19.3)

In the boys meet, Dalton Crozier won the 800 (2:13.9), 1600 4:56.4) and 3200 (9:27.9) as Tri-Valley totaled 100 points, with Maysville 53 1/2 and New Lex 28 1/2.

Jayden Wallace won the 100 and was on the victorious 4x100 relay with Zane Devoll, Tanner Newton and Caden France that clocked at :46.0.

Chase Cameron won the 400 (:53.9) and long jump (18-3), Kam Karns the 110 hurdles (:16.2), Micah Shupert the shot (39-4 1/4) and Chris Gargasz the discus (139-5) for the Scotties.

Arpen Parekh, Nathan Hustey, Ethan Dusenberry and William Dearing took the 4x800 (10:04.0).

Sammy Scott took the 200 (:23.7), Vince Pratt the 300 hurdles (:43.4) and Casen Hirtle the high jump (5-10) for Maysville. Kaleb Monlux, Owen Rusnak, Anthony Humphrey and Remington Turner won the 4x400 relay (4:02.1).

Kenneth Waggoner took the pole vault (10-0) for New Lexington; Carson Kellogg, Lucas Scott, Mason Klingler and Chase Dumolt won the 4x200 (4:02.1).

Smith dominates for Morgan girls: Odessa Smith won the 100 (:13.13), 200 (:27.24), 400 (1:03.0) and high jump (4-2) for the Raiders in a triangular with host Crooksville and West Muskingum.

Shannon Cooper added a win in the 100 hurdles (:55.71) for the Raiders.

Rebecca Strunk won the shot (33-3), Mykell Bowen the discus (121-5), Molly Spiker the long jump (15-4 1/4), Sydney Bollinger (7:21.7). West also picked up wins in the 4x100 (:56.13), 4x200 (1:54.3) and 4x800 (12:15.4).

Hannah Sheets won the 800 (2:41.3) and Angel Wood the 3200 (14:42.4) for Crooksville.

In the boys meet, Jacob Agin won the 800 (2:27.1), 1600 (5:13.5) and 3200 (11:42.6) for West; Rashid Sesay won the 100 (:11.74), Lane Kennedy the 200 (:24.43) and Tavin Bennett the high jump (5-0).

The Tornadoes also won the 4x100 (:45.2) and 4x200 (1:39.5) relays.

Blaze Hunter won the 300 hurdles (:44.2), Grayson Houk the triple jump (37-3 3/4), Gage Frash the long jump (17-10) and Ashton Childress the discus (123-2) for Crooksville.

Gaberiel Griesmeyer won the 400 (:56.6) for Morgan, which also claimed the 4x400 (3:59.1) and 4x800 (10:22.9).

Philo, Sheridan girls tie: Sheridan and Philo tied for first place with 60 1/3 points in a triangular with Meadowbrook at the Philo Athletic Complex

Claire Shriner won the 100 (:13.2) and 400 (1:03.4), Lily Dennis the shot (34-4 1/2) and discus (111-3), Beckett Strong the 800 (2:36.8) and Annie Swain the triple jump (28-10 1/2) for Sheridan, which also won the 4x100 relay (:53.5)

Halli Harris, Makenna Staker, Angelina Myers and Aleigha Busse won the 4x400 (4:39.5) for Philo; Jenna Lytton, Aubree Ford, Milee Wahl and Emily Irvin took the 4x800 relay (11:39.5) and Addison Hlad, Sara Searls, Aubree Delong and Angelina Myers took the 4x200 (1:58.6).

Staker won the 100 hurdles (:17.7) and 300 hurdles (:50.9), Harris the 200 (:28.4), Delylah Boetcher the pole vault (8-0), Anna Stutes the long jump (15-5).

Gage Pack won the pole vault (10-0) and triple jump (37-7), Reed Coconis the 800 (2:26.56) and Simon Conrad the 3200 (10:33.9) for Sheridan, which also won the 4x200 relay (1:48.2).

Aidan Mahon won the 200 (:23.84) and 400 (:52.98), Zack Savage the 100 (:11.61) and Kyler Nader the 110 hurdles (:17.21) for Philo. Mahon joined Alex Evans, Ryan Morris and Corga Goldean to win the 4x800 (9:16.8).

Meadowbrook won with 61 points, while Sheridan totaled 52 and Philo 41.

Zanesville boys second at LV: Noah Corbin won the shot (37-5) and discus (90-9) for the Blue Devils, who totaled 48 1/2 points to place second in the boys meet and third in the girls in a triangular with Heath and host Licking Valley.

Camron Willett won the 110 hurdles (:16.5) and Robert Guest the 300 hurdles (:44.0), while Evan Wood, Samari Bryant, Luis Rivera-Dejesus and Nick Caldwell won the 4x800 (9:54.0).

In the girls meet, Ireland Park won the 100 (:13.2) and 400 (1:11.8) for Zanesville; Cecilia Ewaet took the 800 (3:14.0). Heath won with 60, Valley had 58 and Zanesville 28.
