Here is a quick summary of Arizona State athletes coming or going through the transfer portal.

Arizona State football players lost in transfer portal

DL Anthonie Cooper (6-2, 275, R-Jr.) Local product out of Goodyear Millennium had 16 starts in his career and held down a starting spot the past season at defensive end.

K Jace Feely (6-0, 215, R-Fr.) Local product out of Gilbert Christian lost the battle for the kicker role to true freshman Carter Brown. Had four kickoffs for 238 yards (59.5 avg.) with one punt for 37 yards. Made only PAT kick attempt.

LS John Ferlmann (6-2, 225, R-Fr.) The local out of Boulder Creek handled all long snapping duties the past season.

LS Gage King (6-2, 245, R-So.) Looked to the favorite for the starting snapper position but was injured and never got the job back from Ferlmann.

OL LaDarius Henderson (6-5, 310, Sr.) The Texas native started 29 games over the last three years and was one of ASU's team captains this season but missed the last six games after sustaining a broken bone in his hand against Washington in October. Committed to Michigan.

DL Joe Moore (6-3, 245, R-So.) The St. Louis, Mo., native was a starter at defensive end, finishing with 24 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two sacks, six quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery

RB Daniyel Ngata (5-10, 200, R-So.) Was the No. 2 running back behind Xazavian Valladay, finishing with 272 yards on 54 carries with one touchdown in 11 games. Also served as primary kickoff return specialist with 411 yards on 18 returns with a long of 58 yards.

DL Omarr Norman-Lott (6-3, 290, R-So.) Registered 14 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, two quarterback hurries and two breakups. Had three career starts.

QB Paul Tyson (6-5, 230, R-Jr.) Saw action in just one game last season, that being the season-opener against Northern Arizona when he came in late for some mop-up duty when game was in hand. Was at ASU just one season after transferring in from Alabama

Arizona State football players gained in transfer portal

LB-DL Tristan Monday (6-4, 240, Fr.) The Saguaro graduate is returning home after spending true freshman season at Wisconsin where he did not play any games. Was a three-star prospect out of high school. Had eight offers and originally committed to Arizona before flipping to Wisconsin after a visit there.
