A tractor-trailer rig hit a utility pole and downed an CenturyLink line along McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers  on Thursday morning, blocking the roadway.

Fort Myers police issued an alert for traffic in the area of McGregor and Victoria Avenue.

A crew from CenturyLink was due to make repairs.
