Tractor-trailer jackknifes on I-70; Hazmat called

A hazmat team was called to the scene of a tractor-trailer crash in Washington County Tuesday morning.

Crews cleared a jackknifed tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 westbound near the Beau Street exit. The crash caused a diesel leak on the median, according to the South Strabane Fire Department.

I-70 reopened to motorists around 7 a.m., according to the department.

The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. Washington County HazMat was called, according to a 911 dispatcher. No injuries were reported.
