Tracy Byrd highlights Muskingum County Fair entertainment
ZANESVILLE − The Muskingum County Fair Board has announced entertainment for this year's 177th annual fair, to be held Aug. 13 to 19 at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds. Shows will be in the grandstand area.
Opening day will feature harness racing at 1 p.m. and National Tractor Pullers Association sanctioned truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m. More harness racing will be at 6 p.m. on Monday.
Tuesday of fair week will have a rough truck contest at 7 p.m. Sarge and Sons demolition derby will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Bar Rodeo bull riding and girls barrel racing is at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
Friday of the fair will have country singer Tracy Byrd at 8 p.m. with special guest Jay Allen. Track seats are $30 with grandstand seats for $20. Tickets do not include general admission. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. April 8 at muskingumcofair.com.
The fair closes with a horse pull at 11 a.m. and a truck, tractor and semi pull at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Firefighter Show and Victoria Circus will have daily performances throughout the week. Bates Brothers Amusement Company will supply at least 20 rides and attractions.
General admission is $10 for those age 5 and older with parking included.
