Tracy high school quarterback leads state in most passing yards

Nicholas Coronado has thrown 43 touchdown passes during the 2021 regular season, and will lead Kimball High School into the second round of the Division IV Sac-Joaquin Section Playoffs. The senior quarterback, who threw eight touchdowns during a regular season game, led his team to an overall record of 9-and-1 overall, and 5-and-1 in the Valley Oak League. Coronado and some of the members of his team grew up together and played youth football as kids, and now they have a chance to win a Sac-Joaquin Section Championship. During the regular season Nicholas has thrown for over 3,600 — nearly 500 yards more than the second place passer.
