Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Atlas Arteria Limited (ASX:ALX) Independent Non Executive Director, David Bartholomew, recently bought AU$80k worth of stock, for AU$7.91 per share. While that isn't the hugest buy, it actually boosted their shareholding by 116%, which is good to see.
Atlas Arteria Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Independent Non-Executive Director of Macquarie Atlas Roads International Limited Derek Stapley for AU$148k worth of shares, at about AU$8.50 per share. That means that even when the share price was higher than AU$7.52 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. It's very possible they regret the purchase, but it's more likely they are bullish about the company. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares.
