Trader Joe’s second rocks-in-the-food recall of the week pulls falafel from 35 states

The third not-food-in-your-food recall of July involving Trader Joe’s — and the second one of the week involving rocks in food — yanks falafel in 35 states and Washington, D.C.

The supplier of Trader Joe’s Fully-Cooked Falafel told the grocery chain that the falafel might contain rocks, Trader Joe’s announced Friday. Falafel joins cookies and Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup on the list of Trader Joe’s products recalled for possible contamination.

The falafel went to Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampsire, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.
