The rapper and entrepreneur brings the world's loudest bluetooth boomboxes to his native Houston.

- Trae the Truth's Bumpboxx pop up is officially open at the Galleria today. He was joined by some of his friends, including Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. People were lined up to get their hands on a Bluetooth boom box. Trae says the love between him and Houston is mutual.

TRAE THE TRUTH: It's moments like this that make me even pump harder, to continue to be there for the people, to know that they're going to be there with me, man. And, you know, I still feel this is early, early stages of my life. I feel there is so much more history I'm going to make, you know. And the good thing is I'm a representative of Houston to the end. So everything I do is to make them proud.

TRAE THE TRUTH: Right now we're at live in the Galleria mall right now for Bumpboxx Houston. We getting ready to kick off my grand opening to my store, Bumpboxx Houston. So we in the-- I'm so all over the place, man. We in a great moment for me right now, you know, just knowing where I came from, man. This is historical for us.

- Look. I mean, you got people piling in right now. You got a grand opening in 10 minutes maybe. This must be, this must be a pretty exciting moment for you.

TRAE THE TRUTH: Yeah, very. It's a nervous moment, too, because you never know how it's really going to turn out. You never know if people going to show up or anything. But it's a blessing, man. I'm here, and, you know, the good thing is not only is it something amazing for me, but it's also just amazing because it's a chance for me to give back. Because even in the midst of me having a store, we giving over $5,000 worth of giveaways too.

- You know, I want to talk about it for a moment. Every time I see you, every time I hear your name, it's tying back to something about you giving back to this community. You give back to this community, and you give back to Houston more than just about anybody that I see on a regular basis. Why do you do it, and how does it make you feel to know that people love you and, and appreciate and respect what you do?

TRAE THE TRUTH: It's a blessing, man, you know, because, you know, I seen over the years. You see so many artists and people come and go, you know. You see so many people get loved and they don't get it. Mine's been consistent of over 20 some years. As far as giving back, I've been consistent with that for well over 30 years. So, you know, it's just like, it's in my heart. I'm going to continue trying to do everything I need to do.

- You know, it's, it's a testament to, to you, not as a brand, to, to see the love and the support and the outpouring that you get because of everything that you do. And how do you feel about the fact that you have such a strong following?

TRAE THE TRUTH: It's amazing, man. You know, it's moments like this that make me even pump harder, to continue to be there for the people, to know that they're going to be there with me, man. - And you said you got a bunch of giveaway stuff going on. What are you giving away?

TRAE THE TRUTH: Everything. Radios, pagers, clothing, all kinds of stuff. And you know these radios not cheap. These radios can range up to $1000.

- You're looking pretty sick. Do you have one that just really jumps out at you, that's yours, that speaks to who you are as a person?

- I think each one of them is special. You know, today, you know, I don't know if you know my niece Lyric Shanell passed. I've got a special page that's in there for her right now. And 100% of the proceeds go to her family. We got the official DJ school page that's limited. We got all kinds of different stuff, so.
