Traffic Alert: Motorcyclist killed in crash outside of St. Johns Town Center
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported a motorcyclist killed in a crash outside of the St. Johns Town Center at Town Center Parkway and St. Johns Bluff Rd. South Sunday night.
According to JSO, at around 8:22 p.m., a male in his 30s was riding a motorcycle westbound on Town Center Parkway. At this time, a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck, occupied by a male driver, was heading southbound on St. Johns Bluff Rd. S.
The driver of the truck then took a right turn onto Town Center Parkway, which ended up colliding with the motorcycle.
As a result of the impact, the motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased at the scene by JFRD.
This crash marks the 60th traffic fatality in Duval County this year.
