Motorcyclist killed by wrong-way driver in hit-and-run crash in Orange County, troopers say

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly wrong-way crash Thursday in Orange County.

9:25 a.m. update:

Troopers confirmed they are looking for a hit-and-run driver after a deadly crash on SR-520.

The crash involved a wrong-way driver who struck a motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was flown from the vehicle in the crash and died on the scene, troopers said.

All eastbound lanes of SR-520 are still shut down as FHP continues its traffic homicide investigation.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on State Route 520 near State Route 528.
