Traffic backups on Parkway East after crash near Squirrel Hill Tunnel

Traffic was backed up near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway East after a crash on Monday afternoon.

PennDOT said multiple vehicles were involved.

Cameras showed backup approaching the tunnels, with traffic nearly at a standstill.

Pennsylvania State police are investigating.
