One person was killed and several were injured in a car crash involving a U.S. Postal Service van in Michigan, according to WOOD TV 8.
The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. in Dalton Township according to Muskegon County deputies.
According to deputies, a U.S. Postal Service vehicle was waiting to make a left turn when a SUV rear ended the postal truck and pushed it into the driving path of a minivan, in which a family was traveling.
A person was killed in the crash, authorities said. In total six children and three adults were injured and hospitalized.
All of the victims were transported to the hospital as priority one, deputies said.
The identity of the deceased person was not released.
