Crash shut down I-20 for hours during morning rush hour. Police say it was a hit-and-run
Drivers who rely on Interstate 20 and Interstate 75/85 to get around had extra delays during their morning commute.
A crash shut down all lanes of I-20 westbound Tuesday morning near the downtown connector. Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields first reported the crash on Channel 2 Action News This Morning.

Police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News are now investigating it as a hit-and-run crash.
Police said no one was injured in the crash, but the clean-up took hours.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene where you could see delays backing up for several miles on I-20 heading into town.
The lanes started to open back up just after 7:15 a.m.
Police did not release details on what car was involved in the hit-and-run.
