A new trailer has landed for Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey’s upcoming gay drama Fellow Travelers.

Bailey stars alongside American Horror Story's Matt Bomer in the limited Showtime series based on Thomas Mallon's novel of the same name.

Fellow Travelers focuses on the secret and volatile romance between Tim Laughlin (Bailey) and Hawkins Fuller (Bomer) over four decades. During their relationship, they attempt to navigate McCarthyism, the Vietnam War, the AIDS crisis and society's homophobia.

As this new trailer shows, Bailey and Bomer share a "great consuming love" that will face many dangerous obstacles.

The eight-episode miniseries, which was created by Philadelphia writer Ron Nyswaner, also stars Allison Williams (Girls, Get Out), Jelani Alladin (Tick, Tick... Boom!), and Chris Bauer (The Wire).

Nyswaner recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly and revealed the crew's two "rules" for sex scenes between the show's leads, Bomer and Bailey.

Quoting Oscar Wilde, Nyswane said the first rule was: "Everything in the world is about sex except sex. Sex is about power."

But Nyswaner admitted the second rule became more difficult to abide by as filming and writing for the show went on.

"The other rule was that we wouldn't do the same sexual act more than once, or the same combination," he said. "I remember when we were writing episode 8, my co-writers and I said, 'What haven't we done?'"

Fellow Travelers will premiere in the US on October 27 and a day later in the UK via streaming platform Paramount+.

Bridgerton seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
