Rogers: The Musical on Broadway, a Lucky the Pizza Dog cameo, and Christmas tunes reign in the Disney+ Day footage for Hawkeye. The series will follow Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) as he embarks on a new adventure alongside Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), the next iteration of Hawkeye, in a post-Endgame world. The six-episode series is set to release around the holidays—as the trailer notes, ‘the best gifts come with a bow’—and will heavily feature New York’s own brand of holiday cheer.

Where can you find Hawkeye when it comes out?

You can stream Hawkeye when it is released on Disney+. Disney+ is available via internet connection if you live in Australia, Austria, Canada, the Channel Islands, France, Germany, India, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the U.S. Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform can be accessed from desktop browsers, mobile devices, game consoles, and more.

Disney+ is home to Walt Disney Studios films, Marvel films and series, Disney Channel original series, Pixar films and shorts, Star Wars films and series, and National Geographic titles. The platform is also constantly releasing new content, such as highly anticipated Marvel series like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel, upcoming Star Wars series like Obi-Wan Kenobi and more.

What is Hawkeye going to be about?

Directed by Rhys Thomas and directing team Bert & Bertie, Hawkeye will follow the eponymous Avenger Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, as well as the next Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, played by newcomer to the MCU Hailee Steinfeld. The trailer—which is delightfully whimsical—reveals Kate has been masquerading as Ronin, or a version of Ronin. After being confronted by Clint, both Hawkeyes team up for some form of a dangerous mission that involves several car chases and a shootout in Rockefeller Plaza. There’s also a very small glimpse of Alaqua Cox as Echo/ Maya Lopez, another Marvel character that takes on the Hawkeye mantle and, eventually, star in her own series.

The brand new Disney+ Day footage explores more of the Clint Barton and Kate Bishop dynamic, and gives us a first look at Kate's skills as an archer. You can catch the new footage exclusively on Disney+ in the Marvel Studios' 2021 Disney+ Day Special. Notably absent from the first trailer and the new footage is Florence Pugh, who plays Natasha Romanoff’s sister Yelena Belova and was announced as appearing in Hawkeye after the events of Black Widow (2021). It’s unclear whether Yelena will emerge as the series’ central antagonist or an unlikely ally for Kate and Clint. Regardless, we’re very excited to check out Rogers: The Musical, first looks at Echo and anything else Hawkeye has to offer us.

You can catch Hawkeye on November 24, 2021, and in the meantime, you can catch up on what’s been happening in the rest of the MCU on Disney+.
