Train crashes into semi-truck and trailer in Acworth, causing road closures and delays
A train crash involving a semi-truck caused road closures in Cobb County Wednesday evening.
The Acworth Police Department issued a traffic alert Wednesday saying to avoid the area of Main Street and School Street due to a crash involving a train and a utility trailer.

Shortly after 6 p.m., a CSX train hit a semi-truck and trailer that was stopped on the School Street crossing, near North Main Street.
The crashed caused delays for a few hours, according to police.
CSX said the truck was unoccupied and there were no injuries to the train crew.
